The luxury estates on Lake Balaton will soon be delivered to their owners
The construction of the luxury apartment house BalaLand Residence, one of the largest real estate developments on Lake Balaton in a Caribbean beach style, consisting of 112 apartments, is progressing according to schedule.
Ákos Apáthy, regional director, provided detailed information on the current status of the BalaLand project on behalf of the contractor Grabarics Kft. The BalaLand project consists of 3 building parts, which are separated in time and space: in addition to BalaLand Residence, the five-star BalaLand Family Hotel & Resort with 109 rooms and the year-round open BalaLand Family Park will be built in the same development area of about 10,000 square meters.
One of the most special and complex developments of Lake Balaton takes place in Szántód, on the shore opposite the Tihany Peninsula. The individual project elements are ideally scattered in the 5.5 hectare contiguous area. The current primeval nature of the area will be completed with further landscaping in the course of the development.
- Grabarics Kft. is participating as the general contractor in the Bazalt III project at ROCKWOOL’s Tapolca site, which involves the comprehensive development and renovation of the existing office, workshop, and warehouse areas. The project is scheduled for completion, with technical handover set to begin, in the third quarter of 2026.
- Weinberg '93 Ltd. and GRABARICS Ltd. won the consortium tender for the expansion of Dreher Breweries in 2024. A unique investment in the Hungarian beer industry is underway at the historic Dreher Brewery, with the aim of modernizing the brewery's technology. The first phase involves the construction of a new cellar and energy block, with the general contractor's work already well underway.
- For Grabarics Ltd., it has always been important to contribute to Hungary’s outstanding developments through innovative solutions and high-quality construction work. One special example of this is the Balaton Park Circuit project in Balatonfőkajár, where our Concrete division had the opportunity to prove itself in a new field: the curbs for the MotoGP track have been completed.

- Grabarics Kft. has won the tender for the implementation of Unilever Hungary's nearly €50 million investment, which will see a new factory built in Nyírbátor. The new facility will manufacture aerosol deodorants for world-renowned beauty brands, including Axe, Rexona, and Dove.
