The Flóra Villa is located at number 16 of the Villa Lane of District Lower Lőverek, which is the most beautiful street of Sopron and maybe of the whole country. This villa represent a special value in itself, and it is the most prestigious building of the Villa Lane.

This part of the street, constituting an independent unit and containing 7 villas, was built in the first decades of the 20th century, and it still exhibits its original appearance. This villa, renovated by our company, has a floor area of 450 m2 and located in a plot having an area of nearly 3000 m2, and its huge garden is one of the remaining ones in Lőverek. The panoramic view of Sopron can be enjoyed form the garden as well as from the villa. The building was designed by János Schiller, the outstanding representative of the historical architecture of Sopron. Schiller must have moved to Sopron around 1890, and managed to design plenty of buildings within about fifteen years in the style of late historism. In addition to his own residential building (1 Erzsébet Street), a picturesque row of buildings were produces along the Villa Lane. The Flóra Villa is one of the beautiful example of these buildings, the most interesting feature of which is represented by the multiple level patio structures aligned at the axis of the building providing lots of shades.
