The Buda Hospital of the Charity Order to be finished by 2021

In the framework of the project the reconstruction of the hospital at Frankel Leó út 17-19. as well as the construction of a new central building will be implemented by the end of 2021. Grabarics Építőipari Kft. has won the right of execution of the17.7 billion investment in an open public procurement procedure.

The first phase of the project – also executed by Grabarics Kft. – has been implemented as a self-investment of the Charity Order, while from the total budget of 17.7 billion for the new and the historical building and the wing being constructed in the yard about 13 billion is granted to the church by the state.

A peculiarity of the execution of the old historical hospital building to be constructed in the 2nd phase is that the uninterrupted and smooth functioning of the institution is to be ensured throughout the construction, whereby tranquility and the environmental conditions required for healing work are to be maintained while works are taking place sometimes just a few meters away from the walls.

The general contractor of both phases of the project is Kramer, Kiss és Társaik Építészeti és Generáltervező Kft., who made efforts to design a building complex in the spirit of the Charity Order of Patient Care that enhances the fast recovery of patients and facilitates the work of the healing and nursing staff among the protected monuments and world heritage sites, and under beautiful environmental conditions.
