New measuring of time at Heves Grabarics Építőipari Kft. has acquired the whole capacity of the RC prefab plant at Heves. A new measuring of time has started in the previously obsolete but now up-to-date plant under the brand name Grabarics VasBeton i.e. GVB.

Production, marketing and product pattern change as the whole management and engineering staff have also been replaced. In the meantime the number of blue-collar workers not only stagnates but is expected to redouble, offering new job opportunities for the region. The brand name Grabarics VasBeton or GVB will reflect soon the activity of a plant fitting in the image of Grabarics Kft. but with independent, unique appearance.

The production basis at Heves is capable of processing 900-1000 m3 concrete in a one-shift working order – said Gábor Grabarics manager speaking about the details of this action. The plant prefabricates first of all RC products, various structural elements. Besides the earlier prefabrication of so called soft iron and prestressed structural elements, the plant’s capacity will be extended to crust slab manufacturing with formwork pool enlargement as well as the scheduled development of rebars prefabrication. 50-60 percent of the finished products will be utilized by the company for its own activity as general contractor while surplus capacities will be sold on the free market.

The most important changes concern the operations and the market presence of the plant with an area of 7500 m2. Previous circumstances will be replaced by a stable, in every respect predictable practice. The new factory will offer comprehensive services from the manufacturing and delivery of RC elements up to the assembling of structural frames. From the aspect of customers one can speak about a different plant since everything they face in relation to the earlier circumstances will be new for them – emphasized the manager. The facility is expected to represent about 10-12 percent of the whole Hungarian RC prefab capacity, and according to the well-founded expectations of the company, due to the upturn of the sector, selling the products will not encounter any obstacle.
