Grabarics has built impressive waterfront apartments at Lake Balaton
The technical handover of the Sunset Resort condominium in Fonyód implemented by Grabarics Építőipari Kft. has taken place. The building has been erected directly on the shore of Lake Balaton, at 36 Fürdő Street, with a direct view of Badacsony.
The special feature of Sunset Resort is that unusual quantities of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures were used in comparison to the usual volumes in Hungary. With this strategy, workload has increased and construction has become more organized. Thanks to the design, almost every apartment overlooks the waterfront. The design, diversity and multifunctional usability of the garden give additional experience to the residents. The condominium also has its own pool, but the base of the tower crane has also been used creatively as a chessboard.
- Grabarics Kft. is participating as the general contractor in the Bazalt III project at ROCKWOOL’s Tapolca site, which involves the comprehensive development and renovation of the existing office, workshop, and warehouse areas. The project is scheduled for completion, with technical handover set to begin, in the third quarter of 2026.
- Weinberg '93 Ltd. and GRABARICS Ltd. won the consortium tender for the expansion of Dreher Breweries in 2024. A unique investment in the Hungarian beer industry is underway at the historic Dreher Brewery, with the aim of modernizing the brewery's technology. The first phase involves the construction of a new cellar and energy block, with the general contractor's work already well underway.
- For Grabarics Ltd., it has always been important to contribute to Hungary’s outstanding developments through innovative solutions and high-quality construction work. One special example of this is the Balaton Park Circuit project in Balatonfőkajár, where our Concrete division had the opportunity to prove itself in a new field: the curbs for the MotoGP track have been completed.

- Grabarics Kft. has won the tender for the implementation of Unilever Hungary's nearly €50 million investment, which will see a new factory built in Nyírbátor. The new facility will manufacture aerosol deodorants for world-renowned beauty brands, including Axe, Rexona, and Dove.
