Gödöllő competition pool growing out of the ground day by day
A long-term desire and need of Gödöllő’s more than 30,000 inhabitants is a modern swimming pool with appropriate capacity.This was already raised around 2012, but for the recent years the social demand has been strengthened both by the expansion of Szent István University and the introduction of compulsory swimming lessons at school.

Finally, after a long history, the actual construction started in 2018 with the excavation pit and the demarcation of the area, and today it is progressing smoothly and at a spectacular pace. All this despite the fact that the conditions of the site and the architectural ideas require special technical solutions from the contractors. From an architectural point of view, the construction of the main building full of arches and curves, as well as a wooden roof structure, is the greatest challenge. The most spectacular part of the facility is the dome with an arched supporting structure made of glued timber. It is made of 42 ribs with lengths between 22 and 30 meters, which are vaulted to the ring at the top of the dome.

  • Grabarics Kft. is participating as the general contractor in the Bazalt III project at ROCKWOOL’s Tapolca site, which involves the comprehensive development and renovation of the existing office, workshop, and warehouse areas. The project is scheduled for completion, with technical handover set to begin, in the third quarter of 2026.

  • Grabarics Kft. has won the tender for the implementation of Unilever Hungary's nearly €50 million investment, which will see a new factory built in Nyírbátor. The new facility will manufacture aerosol deodorants for world-renowned beauty brands, including Axe, Rexona, and Dove.
