About the Grand Hotel Tokaj ***** exclusive accommodation development project

As a result of the 2.5-year planning phase, the concept of the 100-room, five-star hotel had been finalized, the project's financing background was established, and on March 3, 2020, the project entered the implementation phase by handing over the construction site.

The project is being implemented through the Kisfaludy Tourism Development Program with a grant of HUF 3,449 billion from the Government of Hungary and the long-term project financing of Sberbank Magyarország Zrt.

As a result of the public procurement process launched in the fourth quarter of 2019, a consortium of AKTUÁL BAU Kft. and Grabarics Kft. won the construction work, and the contract was signed between the parties on February 28, 2020.

The planned completion date of the investment phase is the end of 2021.

Operating from 2022, the hotel will directly create about 100 new jobs, significantly improve the region's quality accommodation offer, facilitate the activities of local producers and suppliers, and generate significant tax revenues for the further development of the Tokaj Tourist Region.
