A new logistic center built in Veszprém expands the Hungarian Post's network
A green-field project having a budget of several hundreds of million Forints is being implemented in Veszprém to build a new logistic depot. The foundation stone of the new operation hall was laid on March 22 in the county town of the Bakony region.

The new building of approx. 5,500 sq.m. will be twice as large as the existing facility of the Hungarian Post operated beside the Veszprém railway station and will be surrounded by 15,000 sq.m. paved surfaces. In line with the current sophisticated parcel-handling requirements, the hall shall comprise seven docking stations, six level-adjusted industrial doors and two extra gates needed to handle the traffic of the delivery vehicles and transport trucks. The new depot to be completed by Grabarics Ltd. shall meet the service requirements experienced by approx. 305,000 customers living in 209 municipalities in the vicinity of Veszprém and shall create more than 160 jobs. Grabarics Ltd. shall meet the tasks of comprehensive designing and turn-key implementation. The completely prefabricated reinforced concrete frame structure of the new hall shall be designed, manufactured transported to and installed at the site by Grabarics Vasbeton.

  • Grabarics Kft. is participating as the general contractor in the Bazalt III project at ROCKWOOL’s Tapolca site, which involves the comprehensive development and renovation of the existing office, workshop, and warehouse areas. The project is scheduled for completion, with technical handover set to begin, in the third quarter of 2026.
  • Weinberg '93 Ltd. and GRABARICS Ltd. won the consortium tender for the expansion of Dreher Breweries in 2024. A unique investment in the Hungarian beer industry is underway at the historic Dreher Brewery, with the aim of modernizing the brewery's technology. The first phase involves the construction of a new cellar and energy block, with the general contractor's work already well underway.

  • Grabarics Kft. has won the tender for the implementation of Unilever Hungary's nearly €50 million investment, which will see a new factory built in Nyírbátor. The new facility will manufacture aerosol deodorants for world-renowned beauty brands, including Axe, Rexona, and Dove.
