A key investment inaugurated by the prime minister

The prime minister himself inaugurated the new Administrative Centre at Szigetszentmiklós today morning. The project of over 7 thousand square meters, treated as key governmental investment amounting to 4.4 billion HUF, shall accommodate four public institutions of the district and is expected to receive 11 thousand clients each month from the 6th of March.
Viktor Orban inaugurated the new Administrative Centre at Szigetszentmiklós personally at 11 o’clock this morning.

The building of a useful area of over 7000 square meters accommodates four institutions. The District Office of Szigetszentmiklós, the District Court of Szigetszentmiklós, the District Prosecutor's Office and the Police of Szigetszentmiklós will move in. A 12-workstation government counter has been developed in the district office as well as an employment and a public health branch office stay also at disposal. A total of 270 people will work in the new office space of 3650 square meters – said Balázs Varga, head of the Financial and Economic Management Department of the Government Office of Pest County, listing the functions of the new property. Postal point and cash payment machine will also serve the clients in the new centre, and it is particularly convenient that the above institutions are available in the same place. Based on earlier experience the new centre will serve 11 thousand clients each month.

The property on the area of the former Csepel Automobile Factory was constructed in the early 1940s and served as the factory’s management building and had been in ruins for a long time. Its support structure, nevertheless, remained in good shape and its size and design made it suitable for reconstruction and for the deployment of new functions – mentioned by Gábor Grabarics, head of Grabarics Építőipari Kft., the firm having won the right of implementation in a tender. The Hungarian State purchased the property and the successful company started with its reconstruction in August 2015 in order to put the virtually new office building of A+ rating at disposal within 10 months. The reconstruction cost of the building amounted to 2.5 billion forints including design.

In the course of the project the complex received new building installations and electricity network, roof structure and triple-layer doors and windows. 111 solar cells had been installed on the well-insulated roof. Together with the up-to-date electrical heating-cooling system (there is no piped gas) this significantly contributes to the diminishing of the ecological foot print of the building and considerably reduces its operation costs. As a matter of course, the whole building is accessible also for disabled.

A parking lot for 116 cars is available next to the offices and a green area of over 2500 square meters has been developed with 38 new trees and more than 2000 shrubs.
