Weinberg '93 Ltd. and Grabarics Ltd.won the first phase of the Dreher brewery expansion in a consortium
Weinberg '93 Ltd. and GRABARICS Ltd. won the consortium tender for the expansion of Dreher Breweries in 2024. A unique investment in the Hungarian beer industry is underway at the historic Dreher Brewery, with the aim of modernizing the brewery's technology. The first phase involves the construction of a new cellar and energy block, with the general contractor's work already well underway.
According to a previous announcement by Dreher Breweries Ltd., which issued the tender, they are launching an investment project worth approximately HUF 100 billion, to be implemented entirely from their own resources, which will be carried out in several phases. As the visual plans show, the goal set for the first phase is to give the Kőbánya building complex a uniform appearance, in which the more than 100-year-old industrial heritage building and the newly constructed plant sections are in harmony with each other.
During the construction of the energy building and technology park, the client can rest assured that the work will be carried out by two capable general contractors with their own manufacturing capacity, and that the entire project will be implemented under joint responsibility. According to current plans, the basement and energy block are expected to be handed over in the third quarter of 2026, but production will not stop until then, as the construction will take place while the factory continues to operate.
