The swimming pool construction contract of Gödöllő has been signed

László Vécsey, MP of the governmental constituency Gödöllő, invited media representatives to a press conference on 27 June. The politician announced the event, attended also by the investor, the contractor and the designer of the facility, in relation with the signing of the contract for the construction of a swimming pool at Gödöllő.

In the implementation process of the development project announced in March 2014, the publication of the government decision early June in the Hungarian Gazette was an important moment since it made clear that the financial funds needed to the first phase of the project were available. It also turned out in the meantime that – among the four proposals submitted – Grabarics Építőipari Kft., based in Budapest, won the tender invited in December 2016 and shall implement the first phase (incl. the 600-place grandstand, a 50-m competition pool, a 6x10-m training pool, dressing rooms, wellness department, and service units) of construction of the Gödöllő swimming pool.

László Karacs executive (left) signed the contract on behalf of the company, and Norbert Kovács signed it on behalf of the National Sports Centers (right) in the presence of László Vécsey MP and János Jánosi architect, Szada, as designer in the Rézgombos Incubator House at Gödöllő.

For the time being, the building permit procedure and the preparation of the execution plans are in progress.
