The modernization of the hospital building of the Patient Care Order of Charity in Budapest and the construction of its new wing start

On 09.10.2017 the Buda Hospital of the Order of Charity and Grabarics Építőipari Kft. signed a contract agreement for the complex renovation and expansion of the active Frankel Leó street unit of the Patient Care Order of Charity in Budapest.

The task is according to the complete plan documentation the reconstruction and renewal of the existing historical building, the construction of the new central building in its inner courtyard as well as the construction of a new building in Vidra street between the southern facade of the existing building and Üstökös street. The wing in Vidra street will be connected to the existing historical main building by a suspension corridor at the second floor level.

The investor of the reconstruction and expansion project of the Buda Hospital of the Order of Charity is the Patient Care Order of Charity while the general designer is Kramer, Kiss és Társaik Építészeti és Generáltervező Kft. The tasks of the technical inspector shall be carried out by György Tóth representing TOKÉP-TGyP Kft.

By its resolution Nr. 1231/2016. (V.12.) Korm. on measures necessary to the funding of the projects of the Patient Care Order of Charity, the Government has recognized and supported the reconstruction of the buildings of the Order, and by its decree No. 211/2016. (VII.21.) Korm. it declared the public administrative actions aimed at the reconstruction of the buildings of the Patient Care Order of Charity matters of special significance.

  • Grabarics Kft. is participating as the general contractor in the Bazalt III project at ROCKWOOL’s Tapolca site, which involves the comprehensive development and renovation of the existing office, workshop, and warehouse areas. The project is scheduled for completion, with technical handover set to begin, in the third quarter of 2026.

  • Grabarics Kft. has won the tender for the implementation of Unilever Hungary's nearly €50 million investment, which will see a new factory built in Nyírbátor. The new facility will manufacture aerosol deodorants for world-renowned beauty brands, including Axe, Rexona, and Dove.
