The initial efforts
It is very important to us, that many university and college students participate in getting acquainted with our profession in the plant, thus facilitating the training of domestic experts for the construction industry. It is our open objective to persuade the most talented people that they plan their future at us and with us, but at least that they are well aware of the Grabarics Ltd, when they get their degrees at the university.
The initial efforts

Young people spending their practicing time in our company during the summer offered very positive opinions about the time period they spent here.

At the end of the practicing time we asked them to mention the reason of choosing the Grabarics Ltd. One of them, to our great surprise, started by saying: “The journal Monitor was distributed by the company at the Ybl professional day, where I read an article about earlier practicing students. I liked what they said, and I particularly appreciated that girls were among therm. So I thought this should be good place for me too, if they enjoyed the participation as they said.”

The attention of most of our practicing students were caught by the usual ways with regard our company: through university professional days, construction site visits as parts of certain courses, or browsing the domestic construction companies.

Some of them were impressed by the billboards exhibited at project locations while walking along the street, or were made interested by seeing company vehicles exhibiting the company logo.

Anyway, we are glad that they visited us for the practicing period, and look forward to receive additional students during the next summer, who might become interested as a result of the details below.

Luckily, the program used for the practicing students is enjoyable not just for us, but it proved to reach its objectives for the students also as indicated by their feedbacks. This was explained most efficiently by one of our practicing student: “It is much better to see anything in life than just in the drawings. We watch videos at the university too, but their impact cannot be compared to situations when we see with our own eyes, for instance how plastering with spray gun is applied, or how the waterproofing sheets are prepared with the help of flame melting technology.”

It is important to emphasise that while Grabarics Ltd had earned “credit points” with the students, but the students spending several weeks with the company were made stronger with their commitment to the profession too. Grabarics Ltd is enthusiastically waits the practicing student also in the future with lots of attention, tailor made tasks and good a team.
