Five-story apartment building to be raised using an unusual technology to cut down on construction time
Over 80 waterfront apartments to be built by Grabarics at Lake Balaton

Grabarics Építőipari Kft proceeds according to plans with the construction of the apartment building called Sunset Resort at Fonyód. It is being built right on the front of Lake Balaton, on a formerly undeveloped plot at Fürdő utca 36 with a stretch of beach of its own.

The building will include 84 apartments altogether, of which:

-          11 will be on the ground floor,

-          18 on each of the 1st and 2nd stories,

-          16 on the 3rd story,

-          13 on the 4th story,

-          and 8 on the top story.

Apart from the private beach, inhabitant will also have a car park of their own

There are several construction projects in progress in the neighbourhood of the plot near the city centre. The point of interest of the Sunset Resort project is that prefabricated reinforced concrete structures are used in a more-than-usual amount. This strategy allows for an increase of load-bearing capacity and a reduction of the construction time. Two gates will serve the entry of vehicles making the car parks within the plot and within the building accessible.

Walls will be made of sand-lime bricks, and–since the development is made on the shore of Lake Balaton–the building will require deep foundations and piling. Within the apartments, tiled and laminated flooring will be laid on floating concrete screeds. Terraces will receive non-slip gres tile covering. Apart from these, two lifts, one for 13 and one for 8 persons, will also be installed in the building.

Buyers may customize their apartments

On the buyers’ special request, they may specify modifications to their apartments, in line with the time schedule determined by the seller. Click here for more details. Besides, the buyers are free to choose from the offered collection of samples regarding the following materials and options: colour choice of internal doors, colour choice of tiled finishes and floor covering.
