The project is a significant milestone for both Hungarian industry and the domestic construction sector: Unilever's new plant will create nearly 100 new jobs and produce around 150 million bottles of deodorant annually. Ninety-two percent of production will be exported, making Nyírbátor one of the key manufacturing bases in Unilever's global network.
The investment is being realized with the support of the Hungarian state and Unilever's own financing, to which Grabarics Kft. is contributing its expertise and experience. Construction work on the project has already begun, and production is expected to start in the second half of 2026.
"We are proud that Grabarics Kft. can participate as a contractor in the implementation of an investment of this size and significance. Unilever's development in Nyírbátor will not only strengthen the region's economy, but also contribute to the growth of Hungary's industrial and export capacity," said the management of Grabarics Kft.
